OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma has awarded a $4.2 million contract to IBM to consolidate several mainframe computers the state uses, a move that state officials project will save the state about $15 million during the next several years.
Officials with IBM and Oklahoma’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services announced the details of the contract Tuesday. It requires IBM to identify ways to make the state’s mainframe administration more efficient.
