D.C. police are looking for suspects in Sunday robberies in Georgetown.
About 11:50 p.m., a worker was locking up the Five Guys Burgers and Fries location in the 1300 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW and was walking out the store’s rear when a man forced her back inside at gunpoint, police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay said. The suspect made her give him money, then he fled the scene.
The man was described as having a medium build and fair complexion, Clay said. He was wearing a black jacket, black hat and black pants.
Earlier in the day, at about 1 p.m., two Serendipity 3 employees were robbed in the 1000 block of 31st Street NW while they were smoking, Clay said.
One of the suspects was described as a black man with a medium complexion, 25-to-30 years old, wearing a bright colored shirt, Clay said. The other was described as a black man with a medium complexion who was wearing a black hat, gray hooded shirt and blue jeans.
