The family of fatal hit-and-run victim Crysta Spencer, along with members of the Metropolitan Police Department, will hold a candlelight vigil on the second anniversary of her death. Six-year-old Crysta was killed after a large green sport utility vehicle failed to stop at Sixth Street and Orleans Place NE, on the afternoon of April 23, 2007. The vehicle had tinted windows, possibly bearing unknown Maryland plates, and might have had front-end damage. The case remains unsolved.

Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to a conviction. Persons with information on the case can call detectives at 202-727-9099.

The vigil will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the site of the crash: Sixth Street and Orleans Place NE.
