Andrea Mitchell, we didn’t know you had it in you. The veteran NBC correspondent and MSNBC host made a brief appearance on the most recent episode of “30 Rock,” uttering only one word. She calls Tina Fey’s character, Liz Lemon, a slut.
In the episode, a colleague had made up a rumor that he is hooking up with Fey’s character. “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams shows up to “report” on the matter. Enter Andrea Mitchell. Once she utters her line, she high-fives Williams, and the two walk off screen together. Fey, clearly, looks shocked.
In other Tina Fey news, the comedian will head to Washington next month to accept the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center. Fey will be joined by Steve Carell, Jon Hamm, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen, Steve Martin, Jennifer Hudson and Betty White for the Nov. 9 event.
