COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (AP) — Police say one man is dead after being shot at a Colonial Heights gun range.
Colonial Heights police Sgt. Rob Ruxer says the man was shot at the Smoking Gun shooting range Wednesday night. Ruxer says no one else was involved in the incident.

Police responded to a call from the range about 7 p.m. reporting that shots were fired and a person was shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Ruxer declined to identify the victim.
No other details were immediately available.
