Leftist agitators punch and shoot fireworks at Trump supporters following DC rally

Viral videos following a Washington, D.C., rally in support of President Trump show violent exchanges breaking out between Trump supporters and leftist agitators.

“DC: Christian Trump Supporting Couple physically assaulted and maced by Antifa/BLM militants,” reporter Drew Hernandez tweeted along with a video showing a man and woman walking down the street and being attacked from behind by an individual dressed in all black.

“Jesus Christ is coming back,” the man in front says right before the attack. It is unclear if a previous interaction between the individuals involved occurred before the video clip.

The video shows the same man being attacked again by another individual dressed in red.

The clip drew immediate attention on social media, including from newly elected Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who called out Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

“Hey @chuckschumer, these are your violent BLM / ANTIFA thugs attacking innocent Americans on the streets of DC,” Greene tweeted.

Clashes between Trump supporters and counterprotesters associated with antifa and Black Lives Matter began breaking out as night fell on Saturday after multiple pro-Trump rallies in the nation’s capital throughout the day.

In another incident around the same time, Black Lives Matter activists reportedly shot fireworks at a group of Trump supporters that included members of the pro-Trump group Proud Boys.

“BLM activists shoot fireworks at Proud Boys on K St. Police respond with pepper spray,” Washington Examiner reporter Nic Rowan tweeted along with a video showing fireworks going off during a tense exchange between the two political factions.

Several other examples of violence broke out Saturday night showing police, Black Lives Matter, antifa, and Trump supporters clashing.
