According to the Federal Election Commission, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee just purchased $95,000 in air time today to attack Christine O’Donnell, the Republican nominee for Senate in Delaware.

This appears to be the ad:

Pretty clever idea — to campaign against her as someone who would fit in perfectly in Washington. You probably wouldn’t have expected to hear that about a Tea Party candidate.

The committee also paid about $20,000 apiece to cut three new ads against Republican Senate candidates Pat Toomey (Pa.) and Ken Buck (Colo.). In Colorado, it bought $277,000 in airtime against Buck.
