Before Fox News host Sean Hannity signed off Thursday evening, he took a moment to invite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to come onto his show.
“Before we go tonight, I’m going to extend tonight an offer to Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I know she watches, she’s on Twitter, she tweets about the show,” Hannity said.
“I want to give you an hour invitation to come on the show and have a discussion and, by the way, I will invite you on my radio show — 618 in the best talk radio stations in America,” he added.
Hannity said he wants to have a conversation with the New York Democrat so she can respond to the many criticisms he has made on the show.
“I think that is a good offer, wouldn’t you take it?” Hannity asked host Laura Ingraham as he handed off the programming to her.
“Yeah, I think we might have done the same thing, I don’t know, a couple months ago. But no luck yet,” she said.
Hannity had called Ocasio-Cortez a genius for being the leader of the new far-left wave in Congress, and she is “the person that’s really leading the Democratic party.”
