Washington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown offered a pointed rebuke to President Trump’s call for NFL players that protest the national anthem to be fired during a rally for Sen. Luther Strange.
“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. He is fired. He’s fired,” Trump said during a Friday rally for Strange, who is facing a GOP runoff contest next week.
In response, Brown argued it wasn’t Trump’s place to weigh in.

“Trump stay in ur place… football have nothing to do wit u,” Brown tweeted, adding “smh,” which is an acronym for “shaking my head.”
Others hit Trump for not striking a similar tone in the aftermath of the deadly violence that ensued following a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
Trump sounds like the slave master that heard his slaves were acting up. “Get that son of a bitch off the field”
