Ivanka Trump to visit Iowa to talk workforce development

Ivanka Trump is heading to Iowa on Monday to discuss workforce development with Gov. Kim Reynolds.

The White House adviser and first daughter will tour the Waukee Innovation & Learning Center to learn about how high school students collaborate with local businesses, the Des Moines Register reported Friday.

“Workforce development is a critical part of our infrastructure proposal that the White House sent to Congress,” Trump said.

Trump added that she’s worked “closely” with Reynolds over the last year on workforce development initiatives.

“Gov. Reynolds serves on the task force for apprenticeship expansion and remains an important voice in discussions to increase K-12 STEM and computer science education nationwide,” Trump said.
