We’re pretty sure after Monday that Sasha and Malia Obama could smoothly sail into the classrooms of Barnard College. Barnard’s President Debora Spar had warm words to say about all the Obama women, in advance of President Obama‘s commencement address at Columbia’s sister school Monday afternoon. She complimented everyone from his grandmother “Toots” to first lady Michelle Obama, calling his 1992 marriage to FLOTUS one of his “all-time best slam-dunks.” Turning to the kids, she said that Sasha and Malia Obama gave the graduates hope. “They’re welcome at Barnard any time,” Spar exclaimed after Obama’s address, presenting him with a book of hand-written notes from Barnard’s 2012 class for the Obama girls.
