Wanna have a great burger for a great cause? Head to BGR The Burger Joint near Dupont Circle on Friday night and join Lauren DeSantis for a viewing party of the “Burgers and Shakes” episode of her “Capital Cooking” show on WETA.
Dine on $2 Wellington Burgers and $2 Sweet Potato Fries, and sip free champagne with Lauren as you watch her on the two TVs set up to air the show. The episode will feature that burger and fries, plus Fried Pickles and an “Adult” Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake.
All the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for The Cure to battle breast cancer.
