CNN’s Erin Burnett asked former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg on Monday whether he was under the influence while taking part in a live in-studio interview.
“I have smelt alcohol on your breath,” the “Outfront” host asked Nunberg.
“Well, I have not had a drink,” Nunberg replied, before saying he took antidepressants earlier in the day when pressed by Burnett.
Burnett asks him if he took anything else today, he says no. Just his antidepressants.

Nunberg gave a spate of freewheeling interviews Monday after announcing he would refuse to appear before a federal grand jury as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Nunberg received a grand jury subpoena from Mueller requesting him to testify in Washington, D.C., on Friday and turn over documents, according to the Washington Post.
