That’s right. Callista Gingrich’s face was plastered next to an array of mystery mistresses including South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford’s Maria Belen Chapur, Nevada Republican Sen. John Ensign’s Cindy Hampton, former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey’s mister Golan Cipel and an FDR lover for a round of “Name that Mistress” at Politics & Pints trivia night on Monday.
From groans in the crowd at Capitol Lounge, it seems most had trouble placing a name to the picture. Maybe with good reason: She’s been Mrs. Gingrich since 2000, but before then, she was his mistress.
