White House communications director Hope Hicks will not appear before the House Intelligence Committee on Friday as the panel delayed their plans to question her as part of their ongoing investigation into Russia’s election meddling.
Multiple sources told CNN earlier this week that Hicks was set to be questioned in regards to any contact campaign associates may have had with Russian operatives during the 2016 presidential campaign.
