My story this morning has prompted a call from someone very close to the Nats-Bonneville radio deal and in the interest of both fairness and accuracy here are the facts as of today.
1. As of right now the Nationals rights for 2010 are set for WFED-AM 1500
2. Bonneville has not purchased any Citadel radio stations
3. Bonneville and the Nationals hope to expand their network of stations for 2010.
Those are the facts as we know them today.
Will the things change for 2010?
As for my column today I stand by the people who are my sources and I still feel that there will be some changes made to the Nationals deal .
However in the interest of what fact the facts are as of September 2, 2009 the Nationals are set to return to WFED AM 1500.
Should things change I will be ready to tell you.
