My American Enterprise Institute colleague Karlyn Bowman is a very careful interpreter of public opinion polls and is not inclined to use sensationalist language. Therefore, it’s worthy of note when AEI sends out its latest Political Report with the subject line reading “Startling Numbers for Obama’s Re-elect vs. Past Presidents.” Here’s the link to the report, which you can read and decide for yourself whether the numbers are “startling.” They look that way to me.
