Even though Miley Cyrus got engaged at a very young age, her parents are showing nothing but support for their daughter.
Miley, 19, announced her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, 22, Wednesday.
Since then, her mom and dad have both spoken out in support of the teen.
“All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams,” Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, tweeted. “To find happiness…peace of mind…and someday know…true love.”
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer’s mom, Tish Cyrus, also took to Twitter. “Wow! All of the love pouring out for Miley and Liam is incredible! So happy for my precious baby girl and the love of her life!”
An Us Weekly insider says that despite her young age, Miley is ready for marriage.
“She’s very mature! She’s 19 going on 40, so she is ready.”
Adam moves on to a new model
As The Buzz told you Monday, Adam Levine was spotted kissing model Behati Prinsloo just two months after breaking up with model Anne Vyalitsyna.
And now it looks like it wasn’t a one-time thing — the pair are rumored to be dating.
“Behati always had a crush on Adam,” a source tells Us. “And she was a little jealous of Anne.”
The 23-year-old Namibian model is said to be a close friend of Anne V’s, who reportedly “blindsided” Adam by breaking up with him.
And even though she dumped him, Anne is not happy about Adam and Behati dating, an Us source says.
But the Russian model can’t be too upset. Sources say she’s recently been “flirting and texting” with “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard.
