On Saturday, August 9, our own Fred Barnes will be at Fenway Park throwing out the first pitch as the Red Sox take on the mighty Baltimore Orioles. Barnes, a longtime fan, will bring his heat to the mound at 7:05 p.m. His presence will no doubt inspire the team, which is locked in a tight pennant race with the New York Yankees.
The Boston Red Sox won their last World Series in 1918.
