The Jan. 6 committee has released the full version of its final report, concluding an 18-month investigation into the 2021 riot at the Capitol.

The panel unanimously approved the report and released a summary on Monday, with the Wednesday edition containing four appendices that delve into topics such as Capitol security in more detail than the eight main chapters, which largely focus on former President Donald Trump’s role.

The committee also voted to refer Trump to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. It agreed to make criminal referrals for several of his top advisers as well, among them White House lawyer John Eastman.

The full report exceeds 800 pages, and the four appendices being made public for the first time Wednesday focus on security at the Capitol, the National Guard’s slow deployment, how foreign adversaries used Trump’s election claims to their advantage, and the financial backing of the “Stop the Steal” rally that devolved into the riot.

The report makes the case that Trump is liable for the violence at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, when a mob of his supporters physically tried to halt Congress from certifying the electoral vote counting that formalized Joe Biden’s election as president.
