The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill will hold a vote Monday on whether to recommend contempt charges against former Trump administration aides Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro for defying subpoenas to appear for depositions or hand over documents.
If the panel recommends the contempt charges, then the motion will likely move to the House floor for a full-member body vote to send a referral to the Justice Department.
