Teen shot to death in Southeast D.C. D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast.

Police said officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 3200 block of 23rd Street SE at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. A man had been shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, authorities said.

Police on Wednesday identified the slain man as 18-year-old Navarro Brown, of Southeast D.C.

No arrests have been made in the slaying, the fourth homicide in the District in 2012. Anyone who has information about the killing is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 888-919-2746. Tipsters can also send a text message to 50411.

Police identify man killed in D.C. crash

Police have identified the man killed in a Monday traffic crash in the District as a 54-year-old from District Heights.

D.C. police said Kenneth Hamilton died after his Ford F-150 pickup truck hit a GMC Sierra pickup head-on on the 900 block of Eastern Avenue NE at about 8 p.m.

The GMC’s driver was treated at a hospital and has been released, police said.

Authorities said the crash is still under investigation.
