Michelle Obama eats out in Logan Circle

Cork Wine Bar’s owners were “a nervous wreck, still” on Monday after a visit Sunday evening from Michelle Obama, according to the Logan Circle restaurant’s Facebook page. “She was lovely and gracious,” Cork co-owner Diane Gross said. “And we were honored to have her in our restaurant.” The first lady dined privately with unidentified friends. She seems to be a fan of Logan Circle dining; she was spotted with friends at Birch & Barley late last month.

“Surprised guests were respectful. Staff was awed,” the owners posted on Facebook. “PS, She is awesome!!!”
