One of the emails hackers obtained from the Democratic National Committee shows Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was not a fan of a top aide to Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“He is an ASS,” Schultz said of Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver in an email to a DNC Press Secretary Mark Paustenbach.

The message is one of thousands sent by DNC staff members that WikiLeaks released Friday. In another email, she referred to Weaver as a “damn liar.”
The Miami congresswoman has denied for months that she favored former secretary of state Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a progressive who identifies as a socialist.
Sanders’ campaign message has focused on bringing attention to the “rigged” political system that outsiders cannot hack.
Schultz’s leaked message draws questions about any actions she may have taken to block Sanders. Other DNC emails showed officials trying to undermine Sanders, including a message seeking to prompt questions about his religious beliefs.
