Sen. Ted Cruz judged his Republican colleagues harshly after he forced the Senate to meet the 60-vote threshold to pass a clean debt ceiling measure.
“[I]t has become apparent to me, the single thing that Republican politicians hate and fear the most, and that is when they are forced to tell the truth. It makes their heads explode,” Cruz, R-Texas, said.
