Trump ally Roger Stone accused U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley of stabbing the president in the back when she said in an interview that aired Sunday that President Trump’s accusers should be “heard.”
“Nikki Haley stuck a knife in his back,” Stone told Vanity Fair.
Haley told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that she is “incredibly proud” of the flood of women who are speaking up about sexual misconduct.
“Women who accuse anyone should be heard,” Haley said. “They should be heard, they should be dealt with. I think we heard from them prior to the election and I think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up.”
She added, “I know that he was elected, but women should always feel comfortable coming forward we should all be willing to listen to them.”
Trump was reportedly furious with Haley’s comments.
