Donald Trump has been complaining for some time that Fox News has treated him “unfairly.” Today he announced in a Tweet that he’s finally going to act on such treatment. For the “foreseeable future,” Trump will not be doing anymore shows with the network.
.@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won’t be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.

The Hill shared a statement from a Fox spokesperson. It pointed to this morning’s cancellation of Trump’s appearance on The O’Reilly Factor. The statement had harsh words for Trump’s behavior:
“The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about,” the statement continued.
“When coverage doesn’t go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome. He doesn’t seem to grasp that candidates telling journalists what to ask is not how the media works in this country,” the spokesperson added.
On Tuesday, Trump tweeted about Megyn Kelly.
Do you ever notice that lightweight @megynkelly constantly goes after me but when I hit back it is totally sexist. She is highly overrated!

He had also tweeted against Fox News on Monday, and specifically against The O’Reilly Factor.
.@oreillyfactor was very negative to me in refusing to to post the great polls that came out today including NBC. @FoxNews not good for me!

.@oreillyfactor, why don’t you have some knowledgeable talking heads on your show for a change instead of the same old Trump haters. Boring!

Donald Trump’s Twitter is also full of retweets from his supporters criticizing Fox News as they stand by the GOP front-runner.
