Former President George H.W. Bush was admitted to a hospital near his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine, on Sunday, according to a family spokesman.
“President @GeorgeHWBush was taken to Southern Maine Health Care (@SMHSHealth) today after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue. He will likely remain there for a few days for observation. The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort,” Jim McGrath wrote in a tweet Sunday afternoon.

Bush, 93, arrived in Maine a week ago after being hospitalized multiple times over the past few months for health issues and in the wake of the death of his wife, Barbara, in mid-April.
The day after the funeral, Bush was taken to the hospital for a blood infection.
Bush, the 41st president, was also hospitalized twice last year.
