U.S. Capitol Police spokesman Officer Shennell Antrobus said that the Ford House Office Building was evacuated after an audible fire alarm went off in the building at around 12:40 p.m. Sunday. Police are conducting an investigation to determine why the alarm was sounded at the office complex at 441 D Street, Southwest, one of four buildings used by the U.S. House of Representatives.

MNC4 reported that there were no injuries immediately reported from the incident.
