Rally to Keep KSM Out of USA

Tomorrow at noon, family members of the victims of the 9/11 attacks will join with first responders and others holding a rally in Manhattan to protest AG Eric Holder’s decision — made without consulting the President of the United States, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Mayor of New York City, or the New York City Police Commissioner — to bring Khaled Sheikh Mohammed and his co-conspirators to New York City to stand trial in federal criminal court. Debra Burlingame, the brother of American Airlines flight 77 co-pilot Charles “Chic” Burlingame, will speak at the rally, as will David Beamer — the father of Todd Beamer, who led the passengers of United flight 93 as they tried to rest control of that aircraft from al Qaeda hijackers on 9/11. Also speaking will be actor Brian Dennehey, who will read a statement from Judea Pearl, the father of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was murdered by KSM after being taken hostage in Pakistan. Actor Robert Duvall, in conjunction with the rally, has also released a statement condemning Holder’s decision:

“These people should be tried in a military court room, the way it’s always done in a time of war, and that’s how it should continue in the future.”
