US likely to deploy missile defense system in Iraq after Iranian attack

The Pentagon will likely deploy an anti-missile system to protect troops in Iraq.

The decision comes after more than 11 troops were flown out of Iraq to receive medical treatment following a Jan. 8 Iranian missile attack. The troops were taken to Germany for treatment out of an “abundance of caution.”
