Perhaps in order to prove that she is #relevant to Millennials, Clinton attempted to use Twitter to start a conversation about student debt. She asked her followers to reply in “3 emojis or less.”

This week, Clinton announced her new $350 billion plan to lower the cost of college. However, many of Clinton’s Twitter followers understandably felt that she downplayed the problem by asking for their thoughts on the issue via emoji.
