America: Biden failing on immigration, 50% grade ‘poor’

The White House effort to hide the escalating immigration crisis on the border isn’t working, with a majority now viewing President Joe Biden’s handling of it poorly.

In the same hour that U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced a 71% spike in illegal crossings and apprehensions for March, Rasmussen Reports said 50% of likely voters give a “poor” grade to Biden on the issue.

Another 11% rated Biden “fair,” giving him an overall 61% failing grade.

Some 35% gave him a passing grade, 14% “excellent,” and 21% “good.”

Voters liked former President Donald Trump better on the issue.

“Biden’s ratings on immigration issues,” said the pollster, “are far worse than former President Trump’s. In July 2019, 34% of voters rated Trump excellent on his handling of immigration and another 12% said Trump was doing a good job on immigration.”
