ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The Magic have signed free agent Chris Johnson, adding more depth to a preseason roster that is now at 20 players.
Johnson, a free agent signing by the Los Angeles Clippers, was picked up by Orlando on Tuesday after being waived by the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 6-foot-6 forward appeared in 138 games in four seasons at Dayton and averaged 10.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. He and was a four-time Atlantic 10 Conference honoree and was also named 2010 NIT Most Valuable Player.
The Magic host the Philadelphia 76ers Thursday in their preseason home opener.
