Neurosurgeon Ben Carson said Sunday that he has been offered money to exit the race for the Republican presidential nomination, but declined to elaborate.
Carson has made little headway in the GOP primary race, running in single digits in the four states that have voted so far, but the former neurologist vowed on “Sunday Morning Futures” to continue in the race.
When asked by host Maria Bartiromo why he is staying in the race, Carson said he has “millions of followers.”
He added that he is still raising money, and that people are still coming up to him and saying, “don’t give in to the system.”
