CBS Late Night Show host Stephen Colbert compared Hillary Clinton’s cover-up of her health condition to her response to the 2012 massacre of U.S. citizens in Benghazi, Libya, during his show Tuesday night.
Colbert claimed “some” are calling Clinton’s latest scandal “Lunghazi,” then admitted “not many, not many people, so far just me, but some.”
He then focused the remainder of the segment on her alleged refusal to drink water, saying little about her actual pneumonia and other possible underlying medical issues.
But the comedian’s comparison of Clinton’s health to her handling of a foreign affairs disaster, which cost four Americans their lives, may prove offensive to some.
