Blatche has surgery on injured right foot, out 3 months

Straight from the Wizards: Forward Andray Blatche underwent successful surgery [Friday] evening to repair a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.  The procedure was performed by Dr. Ed Magur at Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C.  Blatche is expected to take approximately three months to return to basketball-related activities.

According to one person I talked to who is very familiar with the basketball happenings at Berry Farms, the injury did not happen there.

That certainly changes the annual, “This will be a big summer for Blatche” talk.
