A Mitchellville man was sentenced to five month behind bars for illegally exporting arms to Nigeria.
Bonaface Ibe, 50, bought 194 shotguns and a .22-caliber handgun from gun shops around Maryland from 2003 to 2010.
The operation was uncovered after border officials found a shipping container at the Port of Baltimore containing eight shotguns, a .22-caliber handgun and .22-caliber ammunition concealed in a car inside the container. Shotgun ammunition was found in another container.
