Sen. Kevin Cramer explains why he doesn’t need to hear from John Bolton, the former national security adviser for President Trump, in the Senate impeachment trial. This comes despite the revelation, in Bolton’s upcoming book, that Trump told Bolton that he wanted to continue freezing $391 million in aid to Ukraine until officials helped with investigations into Democrats, namely Joe and Hunter Biden.
Despite the fact that some of his Republican colleagues, such as Sens. Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski, are feeling inclined to vote to allow witnesses to testify, Cramer said he believes everything we would hear from Bolton is already out in the open.
