Three people were robbed in Woodbridge after they set up a meeting to sell shoes to someone.
Prince William County police said the 42-year-old man and two 15-year-old boys were supposed to meet a man in front of a house on the 14700 block of Barksdale Street on Friday to sell him the shoes.
But when the trio arrived, a group of men surrounded them. One person brandished a handgun and stole three pairs of shoes and cash from the victims, police said. The three suffered minor injuries, authorities said.
The armed man was described as black, between the ages of 16 and 18 and having a thin build. Descriptions of other suspects weren’t available.
