For those who missed Tuesday’s first Democrat debate, or for those who still caught it but we’re hoping for more excitement, Next Media Animation TV has your bloodbath recap.
As the video description mentions, “the first Democratic debate wasn’t quite the bloodbath we had hoped for, but it was pretty darn good.”
The video, at just over 2 minutes, has English subtitles as an Asian narrator describes the debate. All the candidates are on stage, fighting around a face down body representing “MIDDLE CLASS.”
Hillary defends herself from the weapons wielding Martin O’Malley, Lincoln Chafee and Jim Webb with a shield that is supposed to be Captain America’s. The difference is that Hillary’s, naturally, has an H.
Bernie Sanders makes his grand entrance on a flaming jet pack which reads “Feel the Bern.”
The video mentions that the debate mostly focused on Hillary and Sanders. “As for the other guys, Jim Webb spent most of his energy begging for air time, Martin O’Malley faded away with a plan for 2050 and Lincoln Chafee was there too,” the video also mentions, complete with a crying Webb.
The re-cap brought up Sanders defending Hillary about her e-mail controversy which Chafee attacked her for. In the video this exchange is represented by Hillary’s head being on the chopping block wielded by Chafee.
It brought up other issues too, as it mentioned that Sanders was not so kind to Hillary regarding Iraq, and that in turn she attacked him on gun control.
Sanders focused on “casino capitalism,” which, in the video shows Sanders strolling into a casino and lighting a match to blow the place up.
The candidates were seen once more fighting over this middle class figure, as “at various points throughout the night, each candidate claimed to know how to rub America’s middle class the right way.”
