Another day, another California Democrat faces a recall effort.

Victims rights advocates launched an effort to get Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon recalled. Proponents of the effort have argued that the district attorney “has abandoned crime victims and their families” by having “disregarded the rule of law and weakened lawful sentencing requirements,” according to a press release.
