DALLAS (AP) — A federal judge has ruled against an oil heir seeking not to pay more than $20 million to his former attorneys, in a complex dispute that temporarily ensnared the Dallas County district attorney.
Judge Sam Lindsay on Thursday denied a motion by Al Hill III, a great-grandson of oil titan H.L. Hunt. Hill is fighting a $22 million judgment won by his former attorneys in a settlement fight with his father.
