ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is looking for volunteer birdwatchers to help shed light on how various species of birds are faring.
The 26th season of Cornell’s Project FeederWatch begins Nov. 10 and goes through April. Participants just keep an eye on their feeders and submit their observations to the lab.

The data makes it possible for scientists to keep track of changing bird populations across the continent. New or returning birders can sign up at www.FeederWatch.org.
