The Shelby County Republican Executive Committee unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday in support of Roy Moore as the GOP candidate for the state’s vacant U.S. Senate seat.

The resolution touts the willingness of committee members to “assist and support” Moore as he tries to win the special election, according to a copy of the resolution obtained by the Alabama Political Reporter.
