Stocks waver as Europe’s economy slows

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are ending little changed on Wall Street as a slowdown in Europe’s economy overshadowed an encouraging report on the U.S. jobs market.

The Dow Jones industrial average fell nine points to close at 13,973 Thursday.
