More than 150 drivers were cited, and 115 others received warnings, during an overnight traffic enforcement initiative on the Capital Beltway.
Maryland State Police conducted the initative on Interstate 495 in Prince George’s County late Friday and early Saturday.
Troopers were watching for speeding, aggressive and drunk drivers.
Police said troopers issued 91 citations for speeding, three for aggressive driving, six for failing to wear seatbelts and 66 for other traffic violations.
Eleven people were charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, three were charged with drunk driving and one was charged with a drug offense.
Troopers also issued 115 warnings for traffic offenses.
