Two men were arrested early Sunday morning in Crofton after a fight broke out at a party being held at 1727 Mayapple Way, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Jason Bergmann, 21, of Gambrills, was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, police said. Bergmann was accused of stabbing Matthew Lucas, 19, of Bowie, in the chest and arm, police said.
Lucas was treated at the University of Maryland Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Bergmann was treated at Baltimore Washington Medical Center for his own injuries and is being held without bond at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
Daniel Zeriselassie, 22, of Bowie, was also arrested and charged with assault for his involvement in the same fight. Zeriselassie was accused of striking several partygoers and a nearby car with an aluminum baseball bat. He was being held on $750,000 bond at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
