MADRID (AP) — Officials say Spanish police have arrested two people for allegedly violently attacking a government minister’s car.
Finance Minister Cristobal Montoro’s car was struck by sticks and flying objects Wednesday as he departed from an election rally in the northeastern coastal resort town of Vilanova i la Geltru. Officers had to force demonstrators away from the car.
