JOHANNESBURG (AP) — A South African police officer has been arrested for allegedly dragging a man from a police vehicle in the second such incident in recent weeks.
South Africa’s police watchdog agency says the latest incident happened March 7 in Lomanyang in North West province and was reported to authorities this week. The agency says that after a dispute, a police officer allegedly grabbed a man and dragged him for 100 meters (330 feet) from a vehicle, causing foot injuries.
